6th consecutive years for the most recognizable underground institution in Greece. The location of the festival known to all, Bat City (11 Alexandras Avenue, musical multiplex). From 1 until 20 of July, 20 days live, 80-100 bands, a great deal of musical genres (metal, alternative, pop, rock, blues, hard rock, industrial, electro, hip-hop).
Known and unknown artists 'play' wihtout exceptions, on the same stage, until 1 hour/band, presenting their work the way they want without rules.
This year's Texas Summer Festival, has a significant peculiarity. This peculiarity is none other than the interface of the great contest of IEK DOMI with the name "Do you have a band?" with the festival. IEK DOMI gives the opportunity to all bands and new composers to make their dreams come true. To get into STUDIO and get on the stage.
Withing the program to support and promote young artists and the new bands, the sector Sound & Music of IEK DOMI in cooperation with magazines SOUND MAKER and ROCKHARD, as well as the largest multinational mastering company and cutting ODEON Cineplex – Digital Press gives you the unique opportunity to make the production of your first DEMO free, the ability to proceed in the production of your first CD and of course to get on the stage to play your music in front of the most potential audience of Athens.
The most acclaimed institution "Do you have a band? - Do you write Music?" which for the first time IEK DOMI created, has by its side, the Jack Daniels Studio and the Jack Daniels Live stage of the well known in the rock Athenian youth Bat City Club, which gets dynamically into the game of artist's search of tomorrow.
