Vault Theatre Plus is a new venue of culture which was opened in March of 2012 at Votanikos. Its aim is to be a point of expression, creation and meeting of the city's artists.Housed in a multi-storey building at 26 Melenikou Str. at Votanikos. An area which is evolves in the off-braodway scene of Athens whith many alternative multiplexes and theatrical scenes to make their appearances.Aim of Vault Theatre Plus is to comment on and to highlight the contemporary sociopolitical reality with an immediate way and critical attitude, as well as to offer ot young artists, a venue of projection and promotion of their work.In the core of the Vault there is a theatre, which hosts performances of contemporary Greek and foreign writers. At the same time with the theatrical shows, hosts a sereies of parallel acitvities from all art areas: photography, music, painting, sculpture, comics, architecture, dance, installations, performance, seminars, lectures, video projections, literature, poetry, etc.
